  • 14 oz canned sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 oz canned evaporated milk
  • 1 3/4 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 5 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/4 tsp fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 9-inch round non-stick cake pan.
  2. For the caramel, combine sugar and water in a saucepan; boil until golden brown. Pour into the prepared cake pan.
  3. Blend condensed milk, evaporated milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, eggs, and salt until smooth. Strain into the pan over the caramel.
  4. Cover with foil and place in a roasting pan filled halfway with hot water.
  5. Bake for 70-80 minutes or until slightly jiggly in the center. Cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 6 hours.
  6. To serve, invert onto a platter and garnish with berries if desired.
