Ingredients

- 50g shredded mozzarella
- 3–4 light cheese slices
- 240g dry macaroni (whole wheat or chickpea pasta)
Instructions
- Boil macaroni in salted water until al dente. Reserve 125ml of pasta water and drain.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic, onion, and peppers for about 5 minutes.
- Add the beef and cook for another 5–7 minutes until browned; drain excess fat if necessary. Season to taste.
- Lower the heat and mix in cream cheese, mozzarella, and cheese slices until melted into a smooth sauce.
- Stir in the cooked pasta along with reserved pasta water until well combined.
