  • 1 jalapeno, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 3 ounces tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 cup bone broth
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy; set aside.
  2. Sauté onions, celery, and bell pepper in the same skillet until tender. Mix in ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Add jalapeno and minced garlic; cook for 1 minute. Stir in spices and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  4. Chop turkey bacon and return to skillet. Add tomato paste, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir in bone broth and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes. Serve topped with shredded cheese.
