  • 60 g powdered sugar
  • 115 g unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 medium apple, peeled and diced
  • 80 g mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and powdered sugar. Add cold butter, mixing until crumbly.
  3. Stir in the egg yolk until combined; add cold water if needed for dough consistency.
  4. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick and cut circles to fit tartlet pans.
  5. Bake the crusts for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden; let cool.
  6. Mix diced apple, mixed berries, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  7. Fill cooled crusts with fruit mixture; bake again for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
