  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 7.5 oz chive & onion cream cheese spread
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1 bell pepper stem (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, chive & onion spread, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and 1 ¼ cups of shredded sharp cheddar until well blended.
  2. Lay out a double layer of cling wrap on the counter and sprinkle ⅓ cup of shredded cheddar in the center.
  3. Add the cheese mixture on top of the cheddar and cover it with the remaining shredded cheddar.
  4. Wrap tightly in cling wrap to form a round shape; secure with rubber bands for the pumpkin look.
  5. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving; then remove rubber bands and garnish with a bell pepper stem.
