Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup artichokes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • salt (to taste)
  • fresh cracked pepper (to taste)
  • red pepper flakes (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and ensure your puff pastry is thawed.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, artichokes, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until well mixed.
  3. Cut the puff pastry in half and spread half of the filling on one half of the pastry. Top with the other half to create a sandwich.
  4. Cut into six even strips along the long side. Twist each strip gently and roll into swirls, tucking the ends underneath.
  5. Beat an egg with 1 teaspoon of water; brush over each swirl for a golden finish.
  6. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 22-24 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving warm.
